Catamaran Charter
Sailing in the bay is unique experience. Seeing the city from the bay is breathtaking. Because she is so fast, you'll see more in a four hour charter on Cat Ballou than you would in 8 hours on a comparable monohull.
Wide life is abundant. Seals, dolphins, sea birds, and in the spring we see whales. Angel Island and Alcatraz are so close you feel as though you can reach out and touch them. There is always traffic on the bay. Ancient wood, working boats, such as the Alma, to super yachts like the Maltese Falcon, and Octopus are all around San Francisco. It is not uncommon to pass supertankers and container ships so large they cannot pass through the Panama Canal.

The Captain & Crew
Captain Chuck is the owner of Cat Ballou. He bought her in St. Martin in 1998. Then, with family and friends he sailed her back to San Francisco through the Panama Canal. It was an adventure of a lifetime. Chuck is a U.S. Coast Guard Master with a 50 ton rating. Cat Ballou is his 8th sailboat. He grew up in the Midwest, dreaming of one day owning his own boat.
David Walker (AKA Ruffin) is the 1st mate on Cat Ballou. The boat doesn't move without him. He is the boats pilot when we're underway. Ruffin is on Cat Ballou every day. The boat requires daily maintenance to stay at her best for our guests. Ruffin is long time resident of the Bay area, and can spin yarns with the best if he has a chance.
